Media 1 is an award-winning custom learning development and consulting company with expertise in designing social learning and creative learning solutions for global companies. Our creative development process delivers functionality and versatility allowing us to tackle a host of client learning needs such as onboarding, sales training, succession/leadership planning, and performance support solutions. All of our work is customized with function driving form—we do not sell Off the Shelf (OTC), pre-packaged learning solutions. Since 1993, Media 1 has successfully demonstrated expertise in technical and instructional design as well as a strong understanding of corporate culture and branding.
Media 1 holds a successful track record of developing custom learning solutions for multi-national and multi-cultural audiences. To date, we have completed over 700 learning-related projects including award-winning courses, performance consulting, and creative flash animations for global organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, Meijer, and Steelcase. We work to adapt content to a variety of delivery strategies, taking into consideration regional biases and adapting paper-based job aids, student guides, and instructor guides for facilitated “virtual classroom” delivery.
Today, we are looking beyond web-based training and blended learning solutions to develop specialties using social media and online collaboration. Media 1 offers expertise in developing innovative social learning and collaborative online solutions such as communities of practice and learning portals for sales, onboarding, HiPo/succession development, media sharing, and curriculum guidance.
